Review on πŸͺ’ Turbo+ Mode Philips Norelco Shaver 5550: Rechargeable Wet/Dry Electric Shaver with Precision Trimmer Attachment by Adam Gerome

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Just mediocre. That's it.

I don't like wasting time on grooming so I figured it would save me a good 5-10 minutes in the morning (pun intended) if I picked this thing up and picked it up in traffic like so many do rubbing my face others that I see doing it. Well maybe it works for them because they do it every day. Then again, I'm going to shave a few days before I shave, so it won't help (yes, pun again). White is waiting for it to arrive. I was shopping at VValmart and saw a brown that looked interesting so I bought it. I would rate the Braun a 4 because it has a charging station that cleans the shaver for you if you keep buying refill cartridges and it also has a built in trimmer that you just slide up and you're done. , unlike that Phil/Nor rubbish where you have to detach the top case with 3 rotating heads to use the precision trimmer and it's not that easy to put them back on. Oh, and you know what? I don't know what I did with the precision trimmer part! Ha! The long review is shorter. Braun 9000 series or better and get 4 stars. Gillette's 5-Blade Vibrating Handle Razor with Peanut Clipper gets 5 stars despite not being "portable". At least my face is as smooth as a baby's and I look this clean every other Monday. Yes, I'll wait until someone thinks there's a gorilla in the room. Ouch. mmm Do not use below the waist/above the hips. Aside from touching your face the next time you use it, it just doesn't feel good afterwards (down there).

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Reliability
