They worked great on my 2013 KTM 690 SMCR with tapered handlebars. The kit includes aluminum bar spacers to accommodate different bar sizes. See attached photos. You can see the handlebar spacers installed where the handguard presses against the tapered portion of the handlebar. Good quality product and replacement plastics (handguards and bar end sliders) were available direct from Acerbis if needed.
