Revainrating 5 out of 5

Perfect for commuting, perfect for a 15 " MBP laptop

I was a bit nervous about this bag when I first received it; I'm short and had trouble finding a backpack that fits my height. I wanted something to replace my large bag because single strap bags were causing back and shoulder pain, something I could use on the go. - as you would expect from a canvas bag. The straps were also a bit rough and stiff on my bare shoulders, but if I wore something with sleeves like a t-shirt, it was fine. The shoulder straps felt a little wide to me and rubbed a bit on the inside of the forearm. I was a little apprehensive about this but continued to use the bag as it was only $50 which is a pretty good price for bags in general. The inner lining has a peppermint pattern and I find it very attractive against the black color on the outside. a compartment (still under the flap) with a zipper, where I usually keep my wallet and keys. In fact, it is easily accessible without lifting the valve. ONE MONTH LATER: After a while I came to the conclusion that this bag is perfect! The straps and the rest of the bag have softened with use and it no longer bothers me when I wear it, even sleeveless. It's light, thin and very attractive. I love its minimalist aesthetic and really appreciate that it fits snugly to my body (I chose to tighten the shoulder straps a little), which is very valuable as you don't want the pack to be far from you while riding . crowded subway. The shoulder straps are exceptionally easy to tighten and loosen without having to remove the bag. It's a really nice touch and it's very easy to adjust once I put it on and realize I want to loosen the straps to make up for the large volume I'm putting in my bag. It was a GREAT wallet replacement for my daily commute. I have my breakfast, my lunch, sketchbook and pencil case, notebook, sweater, all at the same time. It definitely fits a 15" MacBook Pro as well as my mid-sized Intuos tablet! The tablet is slightly taller than the case itself. The Pro doesn't fit - probably they didn't adjust the leather strap on the front. Just like a regular belt you can move it to the last hole to have more wiggle room so you can close it Works great overall :) The magnetic buckle on the belt works well too; it never turned itself off even after putting 6lbs of groceries in this backpack stuffed and it felt more like a duffel bag than a flimsy backpack. Now my back and shoulders feel so much better not carrying all my shit on one side more. A highly recommended product!
