Review on 🛀 SUPERIOR - 900GSM Egyptian Cotton Solid Bath Towel Set, 2PC, White, 2 Count - WH by Blake Clemons

I will compare these towels to the top 3 towels I own. 1) Vera Vera Wang Signature Plain Bath Towel, 2) Premier Ultra Plush Towels from walmart.com (not available in stores) and 3) regular cheap towels my parents had as a kid. First, you can't beat Vera Wang towels: incredibly soft, well made, thick, extremely absorbent, high quality and durable. I've been wearing mine for over 5 years with no fading, pilling or stringing. They are beautiful. Unfortunately, they are no longer available in black or even dark charcoal. The first 1-2 washes had a little fluff, but then nothing special. The Premier walmart.com black towels were indeed soft, not as thick or well made as Veras, produced little permanent lint and faded after 5 years, but more importantly warped and curled/constantly curled/necked. decorative stripe. They are also noticeably reduced. So they have to go. My parents' towels were small, rough, absorbent and not thick. They are very thick, nice and absorbent but not soft. Even after 3 washes and fabric softener an eerie feeling. Even after 3 washes there was still a lot of lint. It shows up less in the dryer but I still can't use them to dry my face or the tiny threads get stuck in my eyes and cover my skin. The color is ok but there were major threads/imperfections after the first wash before use. Time will tell if they hold up, but each will result in more (more than a foot long) strings being cut, so I doubt it. What bothers me the most is how soft they are. 9/2018: After many months of use, I no longer use it. After many washes, the lint is still so out of control that I can't wipe my face with it anymore. When I do this, the lint gets painfully lodged in my eyes and contact lenses. The color has faded noticeably despite gentle washing and Woolite Dark. Very disappointed.
