The monitor is good and works well from a single USB connection for power and display. The matte screen is good for sunlight and I like the screen size and overall thickness. My problem started about 2 months after I got the monitor (I've had it for 8 months now) when it started making a loud howling sound. The display was in the same spot the entire time so I'm not sure what happened, but it looks like the fan or some other internal component is failing and causing the noise. I'd probably give 5 stars for build quality, screen quality, and ease of use for the price, but the howling gets extremely annoying over time, to the point where I have to do my job with headphones and music to drown out the Sound off. wailing sound.
