Review on πŸ“Ί KING OA1001 OmniPro Portable Omnidirectional HDTV Over-the-Air Antenna: Black-Tinted Mounting Excellence by Calvin Reynolds

Works perfectly!

I installed this antenna on my 1955 Airstream and am very satisfied. I installed this King omnidirectional antenna and now have three times more stations than whip or window antennas. NOTE: A DC POWER INJECTOR MUST BE USED (not to be confused with a linear antenna amplifier)! I've read mixed reviews but I have to trust that any negative reviews are due to improper installation and not the use of a voltage injector. This antenna has a built in amplifier that receives phantom power via a coaxial antenna cable and the voltage to power the amplifier must come from a voltage injector (not a linear amplifier). I use a King voltage injector (sold separately) and also suitable for powering two TVs. The booster amplifies the antenna signal at the antenna (where it is intended to be amplified, not at the receiver end of the cable). The boosted signal compensates for the longer antenna length and is a must if, like me, you're powering two TVs. Please use a high quality RG6 cable. This antenna is very well made for mobile homes, works great and the price is justified.
