I like the leather of this bag. It has a rich color and is elastic. It also has that real leather smell. The stitching is strong and very thin, even where the band is joined it is completely seamless so nothing snags or rubs. The hardware is very beautiful brass, no fake finishes and fits the size of this bag perfectly. The lining is made in the shape of a cute dog and sewn very well; does not wobble or sag. I also like its compactness. The length and width are great, just wish they were a little deeper (maybe 3 inches instead of 2). I also want the pockets to have gussets. The outer zip pocket is adjacent to the inner slip pocket, so it can only be used for receipts or very thin items. It really only fits the bare essentials. It is packed with great care; very individual, like buying in a boutique.
