This is one of the best PC controllers, especially in this price range (easy to take apart to clean or replace parts if they ever wear out). I like a wired controller more than a wireless one (like all my PC peripherals), I don't have to worry about changing batteries/charging, weak or lagging signal, it's a cheaper price, the cable is quite long at 10ft and it uses standard Phillips screws instead of Torx security screws (unlike its wireless version). I just replaced my original 12 year old Xbox 360 controller with a new one (yes it lasted so long and I used it all the time lol), everything still works like new except for the left hand counterpart, that just started to wear out (drift problems). I ordered some new analog sensors and thumb sticks for $3 (ebay) and am planning to rebuild them (soldering required). I highly recommend modding the D-Pad as it's already pretty bad. It's so boring and unresponsive that it's fine for games that only use it for menu items, but it's really bad for anything else like fighting games or anything that requires precise controls. Simple fix: disassemble the controller (using standard Phillips screws), cut a plastic circle out of a peanut can lid or can lid, poke a hole in the middle. Then put it under the diaphragm seal with the rubber button, assemble and you're done. I have provided photos to demonstrate with my old controller as I didn't want to take the new one apart again. It works much better when it's done. Everything else about this controller is great, it's a very solid and responsive controller, feels premium and like I said my previous one lasted 12 years with no issues.
