Review on πŸ“· Professional-grade ViewSonic VP2468 Monitor for Photography with Built-In Speakers, Tilt Adjustment, Blue Light Filter, and HDMI by Adrian Palma

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The 2021 version is different from the 2018 version. The colors do not match.

I ordered two of these screens in 2018 and later ordered a 27 inch version. All screens had very accurate colors (tested with SpyderX Elite). I was able to easily set the akk screens to the embedded Rec709 profile and they matched. close to each other. I ordered this screen in 2021 and it doesn't match the old ones. In addition, the peak brightness of the new screen is only 160 nits, while the peak brightness of older screens is over 250 nits. SpyderX Elite I was able to match the color profiles of the screens very precisely. But I'm disappointed because the screen had to be calibrated at the factory. If I pay 250 nits for a screen, I should get a 250 nits screen, not a 160 nits screen.
