Review on Gotham Gold Tone Mechanical Railroad GWC14104G by Andre Young

I first bought a small quartz pocket watch in Gotham (GWC15028SR) but when I received it I wasn't satisfied. There's nothing fundamentally wrong with this watch, but it's lightweight and the face is a bit small, giving it an overall modern look. Ultimately, I wanted the watch to look and feel like a family heirloom that would be passed down from generation to generation. Well I decided I needed a gold watch in addition to my silver ones so I took the plunge with the Gotham GWC14104G and boy am I glad I did. This model has the weight and size of my old vintage Elgin but at a price that makes it an incredible value. Nice to hold and to imagine traveling through the countryside by train. If you are a fan of vintage style pocket watches or especially if you go to historical entertainment events, I think you will be satisfied with this purchase. . I already see myself buying a few more than gifts.
