I've bought at least a dozen (at least) different braces in the last year and none of them worked well until I bought this one. Most of them fell apart within a few uses and none of them held up properly. Most of the others had such poorly designed clamping mechanisms that they didn't hold any clothes at all. I got a few of them to work a bit by bending them more, but that only worked for a short time. They are very well designed. They are constructed in such a way that even constant tugging, pulling, stretching, etc. will not loosen the material.
