You have to remove a whole layer to place beads in it. You can't turn the part back like I thought, which makes it a problem. The top isn't even worn because we can't put it back on. The thing was definitely not worth the money, especially since I got better containers for a dollar at Family Dollar. I bought her a large selection of beads so they didn't match what she had, especially as she likes to keep them tidy. Hoping to get a large enough container, I decided to try this BIG MISTAKE. I thought my daughter was smaller so it was harder for her to close it after it was opened until I saw as my 20 year old daughter tried to help her and could barely close it. Of course, worse is something that just SCREAMS MASS, because while you're trying to close this thing on one side, the other side just pops out and punches fly all over the place, so I had to watch my daughter sit there and cry. We have more than a thousand pearls collected. More than once since we got it I thought he wouldn't recommend it. I would try to send it back but I don't know if it's worth the hassle considering I don't even have an outlet because it definitely wasn't worth the money I think it was about seven or eight bucks , I'll have to go back and check to be sure.
