I've tried several LED headlights to find a pair I like. I installed them a few days ago and they are as bright as any other LED headlights I've installed (very bright!). I like the small fan (smallest fan size) and there is no ballast either, just two wires on the back. Red wire is positive, black wire is negative. The adapter/bracket that clips into the headlight fits well and is solid. The lamp assembly fits snugly (2 O-rings hold it in place) and rotates easily to place the brightest area in the light projection. The small fan also doesn't interfere with the adapter/bracket clip cable like other giant fan LEDs do. I long ago removed the rear plastic plug on my headlights and instead use rubber boots with holes in the back for the wires to pass through. and a lightbulb through (and the hole lets heat in). These lamp assemblies are thin enough to fit in factory sockets, although then the heat has nowhere to go. Fan covers get very hot. I have no problem getting moisture or dirt into the headlights through a hole in the rubber boot. both) burn out. All in all, these are probably the best LED headlights designed, built, affordable and capable.
