Review on ๐Ÿ”ต Navy Blue Incase Icon Pack: Stylish and Functional Backpack for Everyday Use by Nathan Kalivas

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Overpriced (material quality, design)

When you're paying $175 for a laptop bundle, I think it's reasonable to expect materials close to that of Tumi - this bag isn't even close - full disclosure - although I think the Tumi is overpriced, I have 2 laptop bags from their earlier models which have held up incredibly well over the years on trips abroad - the only fault I've had (in 12 years) with my main bag , the plastic lining of one bag was beginning to wear out. I bought the Incase Icon because I needed more space for my accumulated range of accessories. MATERIAL QUALITY - I was expecting something better than the (very) lightweight ballistic nylon used throughout the bag. I seriously doubt that this bag can be tucked back on the upper shelves without tearing the fabric. Zippers are an incredibly cheap, fine-toothed style that will eventually tear behind the zipper (allowing the zippered section to fall apart and not be able to be closed again). A NOTICE. The bag (and thus the zippers) is a bit angular and I've experienced some jamming with these zippers. BASIC LAPTOP PROTECTION. The bottom of the laptop sleeve has very little padding, which is exactly what you need. when you use the design and put the backpack upright. Please note that the bag cannot be fully opened (by design). So if you're looking to add an extra laptop sleeve for protection, you're SOL. - The size of the case is more than enough for my ASUS 15.5 ZenPro. TABLET SLEEVE DESIGN - I don't use a tablet, but the tablet sleeve sits behind (not in front of) the main laptop sleeve, so I think it might create a pressure point (but I haven't tested it). MEDIUM POCKET - clearly intended for someone who wants to pack a change of clothes - super deep pocket but no real organization. If you like looking in your bag for sockets or cables, this bag is for you. But I wanted something that had strong pockets to put stuff in. bags? The material these bags are made of will not last more than 2 years. FRONT POCKET - the same. OTHER At $175, I was hoping it would have room for full-size file folders and spiral notebooks. I see no place for it. TL; DR Heavily Overrated - I don't think all 5 star reviews are real. Excellent material quality. for a $59 bag.
