Review on Boraam Sonoma Wire-Brush Bench, Storm Gray by James Cruz

We purchased this hoping it would look right in a space we have and it didn't. The product is fine but the height and length weren't right for our space. 3 days after receiving the item I attempted to return it but the seller makes that financially infeasible. We (the buyer) are required to pay shipping to return the item, they charge a 20% restock fee and - get this, if you have opened the package fully, the seller has the right to refuse your refund after they receive it! So you spend about 20% of the purchase price to ship it, loose another 20% in restock fees and then they can just refuse to give you the remaining credit if they feel the item was opened and original packaging is not in pristine condition. So it doesn't make any sense to return it - just the way they like! If you are not 100% sure that this item will fit or look right, I suggest you do not buy from this seller as you will be stuck with the item, like it or not. The item seems of good quality and the material looks nice, no complaints there. But that doesn't mean much if it doesn't work in the room. It makes a nice $82 shelf in the basement at our house.
