I wanted to love this item and I made it in about a week. It's very easy to assemble and looks great when you fill it with books. After about a week, however, he began to lean forward slightly. After being carried to the other side of the room and refilled with books, he began to lean forward sharply. I had to find a way to tie it to the wall and I'm not entirely sure that will hold up, but seems ok so far. If one day I come home with all my books on the floor and it falls over, I'm not surprised. Got it working for now, but for $111 hollow metal / very simple design. I just have a feeling it should either be made from stronger materials and beefed up, or it was listed at half price. There is no quality to this topic and I say that as a human being, not as a picky human with unrealistic expectations.
