I like this idea. However, when my daughter tried to remove the lid to drink, she either overtightened it or it wasn't fastened well enough, so she pulled the entire bite valve block out! She managed to put it back on. Later when I tried to see what the problem was after she got home I couldn't put the cap and valve back on. Maybe it's the user's fault for pulling too hard to remove the cover, but I couldn't put it back together. Luckily I was able to fix it. You may have some luck putting the cap back on after replacing the bit valve, but I couldn't do that. There were also no instructions on how to do this, so I sent it back and looked elsewhere for a replacement bite valve.
