The lid on my Starbucks travel mug broke and SB only makes better replacements, so I was looking for a new mug to take my coffee on the go. This (and other Tervis designs) caught my eye. I bought it and was happy with how it keeps you warm. BUT. I use it for hot drinks and when traveling. The included lid? Not leak proof in the slightest and the hole was made for straws and was too big for me to comfortably drink without spilling/dripping (super professional look, coffee runs down my chin). I had to buy a different brand of lids to make this mug work for my purposes. I get that straws and cold drinks are all the rage, but please don't forget about us old-fashioned hot coffee sips.
