If they're only worn in the pool they might fit, but if your toddler wears them around the pool - on concrete or other surfaces - they may fall apart. My daughter wore them to water features and the nursery pool for a week before opening on her tiptoes. Unfortunately, life began to boil and it was not possible to return to the window.
- I would skimp on the size for more comfort
- Brought them back to my granddaughter 7/8 they leak depending on the shoe or sandal that damaged the back of her healing
