Summary : With the proliferation of USB-C, there are many hub options. What differs from this is the VGA connector, which is not so common these days. Most docking ports have an HDMI or display port (this one has a mini-DP). This docking station is suitable for those who have a VGA monitor. Pros: I let my wife charge test dock on my Macbook Pro; The dock started at 79F and went up to 84F, so that's a total temperature rise of 5F in 30 minutes. We had another dock that went over 100F in 5 minutes! Cons: The price ($69) is a bit high; Check other available options. Conclusion: good extension with many ports; 4 stars based on similar offers for less money.
