Made like a gun

This vertical monitor stand is exactly what I was looking for. I'm short on desk space and needed to install a new monitor on it, but I didn't want to spend too much money on a monitor stand, but I don't like sacrificing reliability to save a few bucks. This monitor stand does its job perfectly. If you are looking for a standalone adjustable monitor stand that will allow you to easily adjust your monitors then look elsewhere and prepare to spend more money but if you are just looking for a cheap and durable standalone vertical monitor stand then then is this the right one for you. one for you Let me start with the positive things. The most obvious is the price. This item has a good price for the quality. I'm sure you've read reviews of people who have put their ultrawide monitors on this thing and it has worked great. Why? Because this thing is all metal and very durable. Don't think this thing is light, it's heavy and will stand up to any monitor you put on it. - Sustainability. No, seriously, this thing is mostly table bound. If you live in an earthquake-prone area, you probably don't have to worry too much about this thing falling. - Durability. While I covered this a bit in another pro, I really have to stress that this thing is built like a gun. You can probably accidentally poke a hole in a wall or door if you're not careful during assembly or if you move the whole thing. It consists of two heavy metal rods that you could probably smash someone's head with. So if you're a bit clumsy, be careful with that. hex key. You'll need three different sized hex keys to assemble this thing, but don't worry because it has all 3! cable management. The stand has two round things for cable management plus a very valuable added bonus that allows you to hold Allen keys! How cool is that! Now for the cons. freedom of movement. Now, that can be a major hurdle for some people, but if you want to adjust the position of any of your monitors at all, you'll need to pull out the hex keys and do some work. However, you can avoid this entirely if you just position your monitors in the right position for you! Assembly. As I mentioned, all of these parts are metal and as such it can be quite tricky to put everything together. It's generally recommended that you build this thing with another person to make it easier, but I did it alone. Well this can certainly be done if you have the time and are willing to get calluses on your hands from all the twisting allen wrenches you have to do, but for me at least the process was quite difficult. and takes a lot of time. Get ready to spend some time building this beast. That's all! Overall I'm very happy with this vertical monitor stand and would recommend it to anyone looking for a solid, sturdy vertical monitor stand that they don't have to worry about.
