My local shop stopped selling their branded items renamed Israeli Personna a few years ago. I bought everything I could find when they lowered them to 50 cents for 10 packs on sale. Excellent blades. Fast forward five years and I purchased a sampler set that included these blades while looking for a replacement for my depleted stash. Having many blades, I only used most of them once or twice in the evaluation. They were pretty good on the first shave and outperformed some other blades. I wish I could try another shave before buying 100 of these. I shave well once, shave normally once, and pull my beard from the root the third time. I wasn't expecting this as with most other brands I get four or five good shaves or even more if I dry the blades after use (an old Clark Howard trick to make them last forever). I tried both drying and not drying but it made no difference. I think they were under $7 so at two shaves per blade they're still pretty cheap, but I think there are better deals out there considering how much more you can get out of some of the other blades. I tried my third shave again this morning. Just to be sure. Got about two hits when I thought it wasn't working. Switched to the previously used Swedish Super Steel Rapira, which has already had five shaves and dries out after each use. After six shaves, Rapira is still working. The difference between day and night. Rapira blades offer at least three times the quality of a shave, making them better value even at twice the price.
