The cat is begging for it! for canned food

Our 14-year-old domestic cat has a sensitive digestion and is stressed. For a number of years we have been feeding their dry food specifically for house cats or cats with sensitive stomachs. She usually only ate a certain brand of house cat. We have tried many branded versions of dry cat food for sensitive stomachs. She ate it for a day or two and then went on a hunger strike. They limited their vomiting, but we couldn't get them to eat it as often as dry house cat food. She vomited quite often when eating her favorite dry cat food. We recently noticed that she eats almost nothing except a small amount of her favorite dry food. She lay and slept most of the day, lost weight, and vomited frequently. We were afraid that she was on her deathbed. We took her to the vet who said she was generally pretty healthy for her age but was probably stressed. It made sense because certain things made them more anxious than usual. So I decided to try wet cat food. I tried glasses of a more expensive brand first and she ate it for a few days and then stopped eating too. So I had to find another way. I searched online and on Revain and found Royal Canine for digestion and ordered and tried it on her. She loves it and has become tiresomely whiny until she gets her daily dose. Our cat on the brink of death took one of her nine lives and turned into a kitten - thanks to Royal Canine. Now she is so happy that she can even sit and beg like a dog. She had never done this before. Overall, it limited her vomiting. We used about a dozen small 3-ounce jars and gave her half a jar twice a day. She threw up twice in those dozen doses. I think she threw up from swallowing it too fast. The first time she ate it, I made the mistake of giving her the whole 3-ounce can at once. She went crazy and ate it very quickly and then she threw up. It's not that she starved or we didn't feed her. I keep a small amount of dry cat food that she likes on hand for her to snack on. Even if she eats some kibble she will still whine and beg for Royal Canine wet food and won't leave us alone until she gets it. Another time I was too lazy and gave her the whole jar again and she threw it away and then because she likes it so much she... . . Well, I won't go into detail about what she did with the vomit. We noticed that she stopped pooping altogether when she wasn't eating (of course) and now poops excessively. It doesn't smell very bad. We keep your tray, blanket and food on the back porch. Since this is the entrance used by all the people who come into our house, we don't want it to smell bad. I have BBW Wall-Cha-Ma-Callit plugin in this area and it helps a lot. However, when it emptied the other day, I could smell poop a little more than usual, which made me realize I needed to replace the scented thing on it. I will use Royal Canine Digest for as long as she chooses to eat it.
