Large covers are great as additional protection on the changing table or for the baby on the go (changing the nappy, lying down, lying on the stomach, etc.). I also use them to make the baby lie down when we breastfeed in bed to avoid milk stains, spit or drool stains on my bed. This saved me from having to wash the sheets frequently! I usually wash these pads in cold water with my dark colored clothes and then hang them up to dry overnight. The patterns are cute! The only downside is that they aren't as waterproof as I was hoping as I was expecting them to have a plastic liner on the bottom to prevent stains from seeping through the other side. But they do their job very well. The price is great for 3 pads although the little ones are a bit small.
