Cream white porcelain bowl. I still have a few china items from cookery stores like C&B that have a gray tint. This makes it difficult to mix them with these. They are perfect for large salads. We use them all the time for pasta and cereal bowl dishes. They make an amazing plate of food while sitting on the couch. I ended up buying a range of cream colored china from various companies at Revain to match these bowls that I love so much. The shells are not perfect. In the center of each shell there is a dimple and several defects of various kinds.
