When I saw this product on Revain I thought it was a great idea. So I bought three of these. I installed all three at my home and immediately noticed a sharp drop in signal strength. I think this is due to the now horizontal polarization of the antenna. After installation, my home's coverage was different and all my ring cameras outside reported "poor Wi-Fi signal". I then took the device and aligned the antenna horizontally as it should and all my devices reconnected to the network. I ran this experiment three times and always got the same results: poor coverage with vertical polarization, good coverage with horizontal polarization. This product needs to be redesigned to orient the antenna horizontally instead of vertically. For this reason I cannot recommend this product for purchase. Also, I've tried moving my devices without improving signal strength when hovering vertically. Since this product is so cheap to buy, it's not even worth my trouble and trouble to send it back.
