I really wanted to like this. I prefer a straw when drinking and ordered one and a flip top for my 40oz bottle. I have two problems with this cover; First, the straws are too short, which isn't a huge issue, but it's a little annoying. However, the second problem I have is really frustrating. With this cap, the bottle doesn't hold the temperature as well as it would with a traditional screw-top or flip-top cap - both have some insulation to help maintain the temperature. This straw cover is not. Although this cap is very convenient and has the option to hang on the bottle, unlike a flip top cap I can still use a twist cap as it keeps the temperature cold and can also be taken with me. Bottle.
