I needed a simple, affordable shelf that looks good when empty. It's easy to click together, it's not really an assembly, it's a whole different thing. It came with drywall screws, so we drilled them all the way through, hammered them in, and then installed them. The supplied screws are so short that they can hardly be screwed in. It wasn't stable! With a slight jerk we took everything off the wall. We were ready to go back but thought why not attach it to the side of our solid wood kitchen cabinet. Arrived easily and super safe. But now I have holes in my drywall that need fixing. In retrospect, if you plan on installing it on something solid and not drywall, it's fine.
