The color of the purple is not as bright as the photo. None the less, it’s purple which is what we wanted for our daughter. It’s quite heavy as you would imagine being a solid, yet hollowed out slab of metal.The funnel that it comes with is more of a pain then any help at all. It doesn’t sit in the hole at all so you not only have to hold the gem but you have to hold the funnel whilst attempting to pour the ashes in there.I HIGHLY suggest taking it to the mortuary your loved one was cremated at or any for that matter because the big bone chunks of course would clog the funnel and having to fish them out is truly mortifying in my opinion.Steady hands and lots of tissues later, we got a suitable amount in there so our daughter can enjoy it and have her bio father with her at all times.All in all, I give this a 3.5 because of how hard it was to do it, however the item is sturdy, the chain is suitable (UPDATE: Chain broke after 5 days of wear so we had to buy another chain) with how heavy the piece is for it, it’s a LIGHTISH purple rather than dark that shows in the photo, and you get what you pay for. I’ll update this review after about a couple weeks of her wearing it to see how the metal is holding up. However, our daughter Hailey loves it so thank you for the keepsake!
