Very happy with this purchase. Luckily I read a few reviews before purchasing and found that it is actually made out of a flexible/rubber material. So I had a better idea of what to expect. I've been wary of it, but it's sturdy and holds a decent amount of weight. I use it as a bookshelf/shelf in my 11 year old son's room. I have all of his books (large, bulky, etc.) on the bottom shelves and miscellaneous items on the other shelves. So far it works great (about 3 months) without any problems. It was also fairly easy to put together, a little tricky keeping all the pieces in place when assembling so an extra pair of hands could have helped, but overall pretty easy. The only thing I would say is that if you want a hard surface like plywood or chipboard then this may not be for you as it is more of a durable rubber plastic material.
