I have very flat feet and although I now wear shoes with very good arch support, I still like to go barefoot at home, even on hardwood floors. However, recently, after spraining my ankle, I felt severe pain in my legs when I got out of bed or a chair, and it gradually got worse. The pain eventually goes away after you hobble around for a while, but the transition can be excruciating! After some research and a visit to my doctor, I decided to give this foot massager a try and wear comfortable "shoes" with good arch support around the house. I've only had the massager for a few days, but sitting in a chair or leaning against a bed I used it a few times a day or for a few minutes as needed. I feel some pain if I gently press and roll the sole and sides of each foot for a few minutes; However, afterwards I can walk with a tremendous reduction in pain! In fact, after a few days of massaging my foot and wearing soft shoes with arch support, I was able to walk with very little pain! I hope with time and therapy my legs will return to normal. I recommend this massager. Although I haven't tried other types, the rolling motion makes it easy to use and doesn't damage my floors. Best of all: it helps!
