Bought this for my mum who has diabetic neuropathy in her arms and legs. I wanted to give her something to warm her hands as they are always cold and also to improve circulation. I tried it once before giving it to her to check the pressure and heat to make sure it didn't hurt or burn her. The heat is gentle and the pressure adjustable from "ahh, that's nice" to "GET THE JAWS OF LIFE"! Of course I tried it on the strongest level and it really helped take the fatigue off my hands. Just in case, I made sure the instant off function was working properly and could not remove my hand until the 10 minute program was complete or I had pressed the instant off button and emptied the device. When I gave it to my mother, she turned on the device with its internal battery for four three cycles on her right hand, then three more cycles on her left hand. The hands after the courses were pink and felt warm. Since then she has been using it several times a day and says her hands aren't that cold anymore during the day. helped with her perpetually cold, aging, arthritic and nerve damaged hands.
