I bought this monitor because I'm traveling with a Mac Mini (which doesn't have a monitor); I usually connect my Mac Mini to my TV with an HDMI cable when I'm in a hotel. However, in some hotels this is not possible, as the TV is so crammed into the wall that it is impossible to connect personal devices to it. I have found myself in this situation and am looking for a solution, there are several portable monitor options, this one had great reviews and was at a good price. I bought it with the understanding that if it doesn't work I can return it. It is great! It's lightweight, super easy to connect if you have Thunderbolt, HDMI or USB C, it works with all of those ports and it comes with all the cables you need and a magnetic travel case. I'm even considering getting a second one as I usually work with two monitors at home and can still use two monitors on my Mac Mini when I travel. I also bought a DeK stand for the iPad Pro and it worked great with this monitor.
