I feed my dog mostly dry food, occasionally wet food. This beef and salmon stew was enthusiastically received by my big boy. He ate it in seconds and licked the bowl clean, so it definitely deserves his approval. The stew is very soft and not thick, although I did see some green beans and chunks of carrot in there. The smell isn't bad at all, with a slight smell of salmon, but to me it mostly smells like cooked vegetables and more like human food than dog food. The stew contains no wheat, corn, soy, artificial colors or flavors. It is made in the USA. I can definitely see myself buying it as a casual topper or treat. highlighted.
