My 6 year old daughter took a great interest in George Washington this fall. Since we bought this costume, she's worn it many, many times - to a homeschooling group (during the Teeth of George Washington presentation), all over Mount Vernon and Colonial Williamsburg, to refreshments, and to a harvest festival with jumpers houses . and all that, and just messing around with her brother around the house. Yes the buttons are only painted on and the hat certainly doesn't look high quality, but overall the suit looks great and will hold up well to repeated use! Several people in Mount Vernon and Colonial Williamsburg were impressed and asked where they could get it.
