Review on LG 24UD58 B: 24 Inch Monitor with FreeSync, HDMI, and 60Hz Refresh Rate - Best Buy by Aaron Nagro

Some annoying things: base, screen display, power indicator

I think this is the only reasonably priced 24-inch 4K monitor, so I'm grateful that LG is continuing to release it, but there are a few annoying things. 1. Base: The C-shaped base takes up much more space on the table than it takes. I have a 24 inch Viewsonic monitor which takes up much less space. You also can't put things on the base as it isn't flat, so you might lose desk space if you replace the monitor with this LG.2. On Screen Display: Every time the monitor wakes up the LG OSD wants to show itself and tell me that the beeper is set to normal and the accommodation is off, and this display stays on screen for 10-15 seconds so I have to wait around to start with PC.3. Power light: After I turn off the computer, the LG monitor power light starts flashing every few seconds - this is very annoying when the monitor is in your bedroom and you are trying to sleep. I put a piece of black tape on it.
