Revised Review: Digital Ant sent me a sample of the new updated version (January 15th) of this product and it solved all my previous problems. It now supports fast charging and data transfer on my Note 9 (regardless of how I orient the cable and connector). Not only that, but the transfer speed was exceptional when connected to my computer. I just ordered additional cables to be able to use them for different purposes and connect to different devices (note 9, ipad, ipod, headphone charging). Now I highly recommend this product. Previous review: Purchased to use as a charger and use in the car as a no-look fast USB-C connection for my Galaxy Note 9 in car for Android Auto. The bonus is that I can also switch my Apple devices (e.g. iPod). Good thing it worked fine with Android Auto and on my computer to transfer data with all devices (phone and Apple). The bad thing is that it worked, does NOT support fast charging. Was very disappointed with this and went back to the standard USB-C cable as I need really fast charging options for my phone. Update: The comment added in response to this review is incorrect. When I bought the review for this product, it was claimed to support fast charging except for one (1) specific circumstance which the Note 9 didn't meet. It is good that they updated the review to remove this statement which is more accurate for other buyers.
