Review on Belkin Sanitizer Wireless Charger Charging by Peggy Petty

Solid workmanship and very functional. Since these are two products in one, a UV sanitizer and a wireless phone charger, I will review them separately: UV Sanitizer: The recognized Belkin brand helps me feel a little better because this device does what it says on the tin. I have no other way to test if the UV is actually being emitted and how effectively it disinfects as intended. Disinfection is easy and requires only one button. You press the button once for a short session (3 minutes for 97% efficiency) or twice for a longer session (10 minutes for 99.99% efficiency). You press the button three times to end the session. The two lights on either side of the button turn on when a session begins and then turn off when it ends. While basic, it lacks some of the features I would expect at this price point. 2-4 times more expensive than other sanitizers, it would be nice to have a countdown timer or other type of display, different buttons for different modes, a deeper cavity, etc. A minor complaint is that the sanitizer often opens after a short while. lifts the whole block with him until he falls back (see video). This makes it difficult to work with one hand. Wireless Charger: The wireless charger works very well. I'm struck by the lack of sensitivity to the phone's position. Other wireless chargers are annoyingly picky about the exact placement of the device. A little and not charged. Not so with this charger. I've never had a problem with it not charging because it's not quite centered. A small indicator light that turns on gives confidence that the device is working. I've found that wireless charging continues even if you've been sanitizing something at the same time. Summary: I love this charger/sanitizer. It works well and is solidly built. However, I'm not sure if the high price is justified by the value offered.
