I am very happy with these gloves. I was expecting them to be a bit bulky and not the best gloves where dexterity is required. They are touchscreen compatible. I've used them on a car's touchscreen without much trouble, but phone screens can be a bit tricky. Silicone strips on the palms and fingers ensure a good grip on the steering wheel while driving. They are definitely good for outdoor activities and driving. The quality of the materials and workmanship of the gloves is very good. In terms of size, my hands are in the 9.25 to 9.5 range, which the chart says would be XL. I actually received the XXL glove and it fits comfortably and doesn't sag at all. As others have suggested, if you don't want a very tight fit, go up a size.
