I upgraded my old van lights with LED panels. They worked pretty well, but installation was a hassle. I used panels because they don't make a 1157 replacement that's as bright as panels. I tried a few of the substitutes and the brightest ones I could find overheated, melting the solder on the LEDs and burning out. Let me tell you these lights are bright! They get pretty hot for LEDs too, so time will tell how they hold up. I'm optimistic! The warm lights are just as bright and the right color, so it's very pretty. It's like a home light! Very impressive! I will say though if you don't like the bright this isn't for you. I want to be able to see and read everything whenever I want. As far as I know these lights cannot be dimmed to give you a bright light or turned off and you need something else if you want dimmed light (like a little extra lighting). But they are exactly what I was hoping for. I have ordered 2 more and will be ordering 4 more after that!
