Updated 6/9/17 Some pens last longer than others. A year has passed since my purchase and I have the last good pen. The tip lasts an average of one month per pen. At this price it's ok. Another problem is that the clips keep breaking. Upgrading my rating to 3 stars. -------- I have a promotional pen that looks exactly like this except it has a patent no. on the side but not this one. This promotional pen lasted me a few months and is still pretty good, but the clip has broken off. These pens were great initially, nice smooth writing. However, after a week or so of very infrequent use, the rubber tip softens and begins to drag across the screen, making them virtually useless for on-screen handwriting. They're still good for tapping, but so are your fingers. I have a second pen and it's getting soft. In this case I'm lucky if the package lasts for 4 months.
