I love listening to podcasts on the way to work and when one ends up starting another without going off the road is great that a problem. The height of the CD player is perfect, my phone is relatively high but just below the top of the dashboard so my view through the windshield is unobstructed. My wife liked mine so much I bought a second one for her minivan. Very reliable, you don't have to worry about it coming off like some suction cup solutions. Once you lock it in the CD slot, it's not going anywhere. I have a fairly large phone with a case and there is very little room left in the fully open jaws. I doubt there are many phones it can't even hold in a case.
