The size corresponds to the length, dense high-quality tights!
These tights are amazing quality, thick and easy to put on. My daughter wore them all day with no scratches or tears. I would recommend going up the size by 1 if you have long legs. She usually wears 8 pants, we bought 9-11 year old tights and they fit perfectly with little room to grow. If you have wide feet, you will get cramped.
