Review on MSI Optix MAG342CQR Curved Gaming Monitor with 1500R Curvature, Pivot Adjustment, Adaptive Sync, and 3440X1440 HD Resolution by Michael Munoz

Overview/Display. First off, let me say that this monitor really is one of the best things I've seen. Switching from Macbook Pro 2015 15.4 to this display shows the difference between day and night. As far as I can tell, this screen is accurate when it comes to colors, and it's bright, vibrant, and best of all, there's absolutely no, or at least very minimal, backlighting on my panel. For 34 inches this is huge, it looks dwarfed compared to my laptop. But for productivity and media consumption, it's great. I suspect the gaming performance is also good, BUT when I can test on a real PC (currently the graphics card queue contains (-_-)), I haven't said yet. - Stand While I don't use the included stand, it's heavy and, as far as I can tell, excellently adjustable. The menu on this display is intuitive. While it's not as crazy as some Samsung monitors with literal joysticks, it has a streamlined menu that's easy to use. Change any settings that are baked. The LED ring on the back feels nice and can be turned off. vesa mount THIS DISPLAY WORKS WITH VESA. Mounts securely to any wall or bracket. I didn't know about it at first but it comes with all the accessories needed for wall mounting. - Price. Priced at $420 at the time of purchase, this monitor is superb and I would highly recommend it to anyone. - Final thoughts. I can't comment on gaming, but I'll come back and give my final thoughts on it over the next few months. AND BEWARE: My computer only outputs 2560x1080, I can't wait to see what this thing is actually capable of!
