Detailed review Good epilator

This is my first and only epilator so far, so I have no comparison. I bought it to use mainly on my neck and chin hair which is particularly clingy. I am not new to hair removal and have tried everything in this field so far. Depilatory creams work but I get rashes and they smell. Trinitizing was VERY painful, shaving didn't last more than a day and weekly waxing was getting more and more expensive. I decided to try waxing. I'm new to this. For my fellow novices, epilating is not like shaving because, unlike shaving, epilators pluck the hair out of the skin instead of cutting it off at the base. Epilator heads basically have tweezers, and they pluck the hair as you stroke over the intended area. I've been told that you epilate in the opposite direction of hair growth and have found it works on my arms and legs. All-direction epilation seems to work for neck and chin hair that grows in all directions. This epilator is small and handy. Another reviewer said he/she accidentally received a used one, so I'll say the new box looks metallic purple and has the epilator (as you see it on Revain.com) enclosed in a plastic case made out of the box protrudes. My epilator came with graphic instructions, a socket and cord that plugs into the epilator, and a reversible brush for cleaning the tweezer head. The head itself can be removed for cleaning. With the head removed, there is a small disc on the underside that can be turned by hand, allowing the tweezers to be brushed individually. I know some epilators run on batteries, but this one plugs right into the wall. The cord is technically long enough to plug into the wall next to the sink and then epilate while sitting on the floor below, but when I tried it the cord was a little tight, so if you have a closer outlet , it is helpful. The cable itself is not short but could be longer. It was actually quite easy to use the epilator. You simply hold it against your hair at a 90 degree angle and run it over the area. It has two speeds, medium and fast. I liked starting at medium speed because it was my first time. You don't have to put pressure on the skin, but you do have to keep the skin taut. He gets a lot of really long hair, but sometimes breaks his hair. Just drove over the same spot for the second time and everything was fine. It seems that this epilator usually does not touch the skin and does not make it bleed. If I drive it over areas where there is no hair, it just buzzes and leaves that area alone. However, I bleed when I apply it to hair and acne areas. I have to wait until the pimples are dry/cleaned up to use the epilator. Maybe people who are veteran epilators know this, but I don't. Oops. The difficulty with any type of hair removal is that there will be pain, but I find it less painful than threading (a lot!). Another reviewer suggested using a cleanser before waxing my chin and I find it works for me. It keeps the area clean and dry and facilitates epilation. I also applied aloe immediately after waxing and from that I only saw a few red pimples on the skin. They still come, but not as many anymore. In general, the epilator seems to work in small areas when you want thorough hair removal. I haven't had much success on large areas like my legs, although the epilator has thinned my hair in those areas. Maybe my mistakes are because I'm a beginner. Maybe a more experienced person knows more tricks. I do not know. It also seems like a good idea to have tweezers handy to catch those few stubborn hairs that the epilator just won't catch. Good luck and I hope this review was helpful. I bought this product based on the detailed reviews and I hope to be able to return it.
