Lasted One Day, Don’t Get Hosed!

While this wasn’t terribly difficult to install it was infuriating to take apart, mostly due to the fact that is lasted all of 1 day before falling apart. The ironic part is there wasn’t even water pressure on the hose when it fell apart. My tiny 6 year old daughter was bouncing when the hose fell apart.Even if they offered a replacement that was somehow impervious to breaking at this point I would turn it down. If the hose hadn’t failed this would have earned 2-3 stars at best.Biggest cons:1. No non-sprinkling line to run from the top of the netting down to the ground for the hose to hook up to. This means water will be spraying out of random holes going every which way on the hose that runs to the ground. This isn’t a big deal if your trampoline sits in the middle of your yard but if it’s close to the porch like mine you can’t run the sprinklers without soaking the innocent bystanders on the porch.2. The valve is effectively useless to meter the flow of water. The line kinks at nearly every point you zip-tie it to net as well as the massive link at the place you run the line over the top to go down to meet the hose at ground level. This means in order to get the water flowing beyond the hose that goes from the ground to the top of the net you have to set the valve to wide open. This is needed to overcome the kinks around the top as well. A trampoline sprinkler is already excessively silly but between a drought running and my little ones not wanting full blast water it just doesn’t work out for me.It’s a great idea but just isn’t executed well. Aside from the failure I’d prolly give it 3 stars based purely on the cost.

Pros
  • Versatile - Install hose on a trampoline, then connect those to the garden hose, turn on the tap, and let the fun begin. This product can be used not only for a trampoline, but also for garden watering, outdoor cooling, and so on.
Cons
  • Risk of electrical shock if water comes into contact with electrical outlets or appliances
