I received the product and read the reviews after the purchase, unfortunately. I was alarmed at the number of people having problems, so I got nervous. I googled how to find out when a product was made and two sites (checkfresh.com and checkcosmetic.net) gave me a production date of July 2018. That means this product was made almost a year ago and still is on sale is. Shelf life is technically 3 years, but as another reviewer pointed out, discoloration and oiliness of the product are NOT a good sign. Whether this is actually Estée Lauder selling or a reseller, this is unacceptable. The same foundation I bought from Ulta in February of this year was made in September 2018, 5 months earlier. This is a clear difference between one year and 5 months. You must either prevent this or take this provider off the market. If you want to check the batch number, go to one of these websites online and check the letter and number code on the bottom of the bottle. This will tell you when it was done.
