It comes assembled. If you don't want to spend $60 on a Corsair version, they will do the job. As far as I know, with Asus' aura, they only emit one color of light at a given time and they all glow. But for me it's totally normal, I just wanted my case to light up. Pros: Magnets and glue work amazingly well. easier installation. Cons: Mine came with a splitter that needs to be plugged into a mobile device, had a pin adapter, and since my mobo had a plug adapter, I had to use an extension cord, although I didn't want to use it the full length, which is silly long. Like I said, I think it only does one color at a time, 100%, even though the aura isn't glowing. In general, do you want your case to catch fire? Do you have a 4-pin Argb header that you're not using on your board? Don't want to spend $60 on a Corsair controller and sticks? Then you need these guys.
