My teenage son has an iPhone 8 and Airpods. For Christmas, he got an Apple Watch, another "thing" that needed charging. All the cables annoy me, so I thought I'd buy him a three-in-one charging station. The Apple Store literally has just one wireless charging dock for all three devices, and it costs $140. Also, it only charges Airpods wirelessly. Our Airpods do not charge wirelessly. (If your Airpods can be wirelessly charged, they will have a green light on the outside of the case. If they cannot be wirelessly charged, they will have a green light inside the case when you open the top.) So, even if I wanted to pay $140 for a charger (I didn't), it doesn't fit our airpods. this price range. Many others in this price range did NOT have a built-in Apple Watch magnetic charger. Instead, they had space for your watch and you had to provide your own magnetic charger (in other words, another cable that defeats the purpose if you're trying to keep things simple). This includes a built-in magnetic Apple Watch charger and a snap-on connector for charging Airpods without wireless charging. It's a very sleek and simple black design with a power cord to plug in. It also has some "grip" on the bottom to keep it from slipping all over the place when putting on and taking off items. My son is happy and so am I. He said he doesn't charge the phone "super fast," but that's a moot point for us since he really only docks everything at this station at the end of the day when he goes to bed.
