Review on Mizzen Main Parker Button Herringbone Men's Clothing by Larry Lackings

Revainrating 4 out of 5

So far I'm impressed. Please note this shirt is a slim fit, not a slim fit.

I finally decided to try our Mizzen + Main after seeing them on Revain for several months. The shirts are more expensive than what I usually pay, but I have found that these more expensive shirts fit better and last longer when worn to the office every day. I usually wear vintage Nordstam Techsmart shirts, which range from $45 to $65, but these are getting harder and harder to find, leading me to turn around and pull the trigger for this shirt. So far I'm very impressed. This shirt fits well and looks great. Definitely make my style look slimmer and more individual. They stretch just enough to show the definition of my shoulders and back. The only complaint I have is that it's a bit tight in the chest which pulls on the buttons and stretches as I move. Most of the time I find that slim fitting shirts fit better than fitted shirts as they leave a bit more room at the top and tuck in at the waist. I have an athletic build but my chest isn't very "pumped" so I'm a little surprised at the smaller chest. It is also impossible to choose the size as it fits perfectly with everything else. A little more and I have a clear view of the midsection. All in all I plan to buy another one or two of these shirts and if they last long Meizzen + Main could become my new everyday shirt. UPDATE: After wearing and washing this shirt a few times. The chest is still tight. I looked at my tag and noticed that this shirt is a tailored fit, not a slim fit. I don't know if Mizzen + Main distinguishes between these types of styles, but a fitted fit is usually tighter than a tailored fit. I will definitely be returning this shirt and either going up a size or finding one that fits. The fabric and workmanship are first class.
